Motorcyclist Dies Trying to Break Speed Record
During a motorcycle speed record attempt, a motorcyclist was killed after he lost control of his bike. According to the American Motorcyclist Association, The owner of Team Bozeman Motorsports, 49-year-old Cliff Gullett of Montana, was killed during a time trial in Utah’s famous Bonneville Salt Flats.
Gullett was trying to break the record for the fastest two-stroke, two-cylinder motorcycle at the time of the crash and was reported by the Salt Lake Tribune as traveling at a rate of 239 miles per hour before the crash.
