BMW to Acquire Husqvarna Motorcycle Brand to Expand Lineup: The move will allow BMW to attract more younger riders with Husqvarna’s “numerous sporty Husqvarna models”. Husqvarna produces about 12,000 motorcycles annually while BMW builds more than 100,000 bikes a year.
